The thrill and daring of motorsports are the hallmarks of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Now you can take a tour behind the scenes of the Racing Capital of the World and see where legends are made. Absorb the mystique and grandeur of the Indianapolis 500 and view the unrivaled racing artifacts housed in the Museum with family, friends, or clients for an unmistakable and uniquely Hoosier experience.

Guided Museum Tour (begins April 1, 2019) – Basic museum admission includes a self-guided tour of our current special exhibits plus permanent exhibits such as our priceless collection of Indianapolis 500-winning cars, trophies and one-of-a-kind artifacts. But beginning April 1, for an additional $5 per person, IMS Museum Hosts will offer an informative guided tour of the Museum floor at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. (ET) every Friday through Monday (except Indy 500 weekend). The guided tour will take approximately 30-45 minutes.

Track Tour Options and Availability:

Golf Cart Tour (available March 1-October 31) – A two-hour, in-depth tour of the IMS Grounds and Facilities. Includes refreshments and one-on-one discussion with a professional tour guide.

The VIP Full Grounds Tour (available March 1-October 31) – Includes a lap around the track with stops at Pagoda Plaza and Gasoline Alley, departing the Museum at 10 a.m., Noon, and 2 p.m. each day.

Behind the Scenes Tour – Includes a tour of key landmarks, Pagoda Plaza and Gasoline Alley.

Kiss the Bricks Tour – Includes a lap around the track with a stop at the Yard of Bricks.
